I is for knowing yourself

Over recent months, I’ve been writing about the ‘vowels’ of education: aspiration, e-learning and eloquence, I (getting along with yourself), outdoor learning and U (getting along with others).

So, I is for knowing yourself. Understanding that Mindset matters (that you are clear what your aspirations are and that ‘not yet’ is a better frame of mind than ‘I’ll never’), that finding what you are passionate about and achieving can impact across all that you do, being aware of the need for balance, being positive and resilience are all crucial in education.

The infographic shows how ‘I’ impacts across all the vowels of education.
